Does your library have a room of used books for the public to buy? I live in Decatur and buy used books all the time. I was looking for a much larger selection of books to go through. If so, is the room open at all times? When do you restock? Do you close during restocking? What are your hours? Thank you. Glenda Housley

The Main Branch "Friends of the Library" Bookstore is located on the first floor. Look to your left after you enter the first set of double doors. The Main Library is located at 915 Monroe Street in downtown Huntsville.

Bookstore Hours:

Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Monday-Thursday: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

If you're coming in from Decatur you might be interested in checking out the Madison branch. They have a room behind the Circulation Desk where they have used copies of book for sale. For more details, call the Madison branch at 256-461-0046.
