Huntsville's main public transportation is a fixed-route shuttle bus system, which operates Mon-Fri 6 AM to 6 PM. The shuttle bus travels on 13 different routes. You can find maps and time schedules here. For information on the fares click here.

If you're looking to commute to work, there is also Rideshare which currently has contact with 30 of Huntsville's largest employers. To join in Rideshare you must print and fill out this form here and fax it to (256) 427-6854.

Huntsville also has a Handi-ride system for seniors and disabled citizens. This is a specialized, door to door service there to assist citizens who are unable to use fixed route buses. For more information please call 256-427-6857.
