Answer

The Library provides access to an excellent online collection of study guides called "Learning Express Library" that includes sample prep tests for the firefighters exam. This source can be accessed through the Library's web page (hmcpl.org), selecting "Online Resources," and then choosing "Learning Express." You will need to ask a library staff member to create an account with Learning Express by entering your full library card number and creating a pin number. Once you've registered at the Library, you will be able to access the resource at home through the Library's web site. After login, select "Jobs and Careers" and then select "Firefighter." You will then have access to a number of E-Tests and E-Tests and can save them in "My Center" in order to retake and review them. There are six E-books and two E-tests on preparing for the exam and, under "Career guidance," an E-book on "Becoming a Firefighter." . A perfect source for anyone considering becoming a firefighter.
