Answer

The Library provides access to an excellent online collection of study guides called "Learning Express Library" that includes sample prep tests for the Emergecny Medical Services (EMT) Basic Exam. This source can be accessed through the Library's web page (hmcpl.org), selecting "Online Resources," and then choosing "Learning Express." You will need to ask a library staff member to create an account with Learning Express by entering your full library card number and creating a pin number. Once you've registered at the Library, you will be able to access the resource at home through the Library's web site. After login, select "Jobs and Careers" and then select either "EMT-Basic Exam Preparation." You will then have access to a number of E-Tests and Books and can save them in "My Center" in order to retake and review them. There are two basic practice exams, two E-books on preparing for the exam and an exam for firefighters preparing for the EMT test. A perfect source for anyone considering a career as an emergency medical responder.
