Q. Is there a charge for interlibrary loan materials?

Answer

Yes!              Books:                $3.00

                     Microfilm           $1.00

                     Photocopies         $1.00

Many libraries participate in Interlibrary Loan, but not all libraries lend for free. We always request materials first from libraries that are free lenders. Sometimes specific items are only available at libraries that charge. When that occurs, we will contact you to see if you are willing to pay the library’s additional fee. If you are, we will order the item, and you will pay our fee (say, $3.00) plus the lending library’s charge (anywhere from perhaps $5.00 to as much as $30.00, depending on the library).
