Q. Where can I find online information on preparing for the Allied Health Program Entrance Exams?
The Library provides access to an excellent online collection of study guides called "Learning Express Library" that includes sample prep tests for the Health Careers Entrance Tests. This source can be accessed through the Library's web page (hmcpl.org), selecting "Online Resources," and then choosing "Learning Express." You will need to ask a library staff member to create an account with Learning Express by entering your full library card number and creating a pin number. Once you've registered at the Library, you will be able to access the resource at home through the Library's web site. After login, select "Jobs and Careers," choose "Nursing and Allied Health," and finally "Enrance Test Preparation." You will then have access to a number of E-Tests and E-Books and can save them in "My Center" in order to retake and review them. There are a number of practice entrance exams for the math, chemistry, reading comprehension and verbal ability components of the health careers entrance exams. A great source for anyone preparing for a health career.
