Q. Do you have any seminars on genealogy?

We do have what are called "lock-ins," which take place after normal hours, where we will have either a guest speaker or a webinar which deals with genealogy. The lectures last about an hour. Then for the next three hours, people are free to use the Heritage Room for research.

Instructional classes on genealogy databases are also offered monthly in the Computer Training Center on the second floor of the Main Library downtown. Check the schedule for availability at http://hmcpl.org/computers/training.
