Q. How long will it take to get my interlibrary loan material?
Answer
Anywhere from just a few days to several weeks, depending on what you ordered, and what lending library actually sends us the item. Every interlibrary loan generates a list of libraries that own the item you want, and if the first library declines, then the request goes on down the line, until we find a library that will lend it. This process may occur over a period of a few days, to several weeks, and it’s all dependent upon how fast the listed libraries respond to our request.
