Q. I downloaded songs from Freegal a few weeks ago, but now I can't find that band listed anymore. What happened?

Freegal is a downloadable music service the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library subscribes to for its users. The database is generated from the Sony music catalog. If Sony loses rights to an artist's music, the songs will disappear from the database. The library has no control over what songs are added or taken away.

HMCPL cardholders may download three free songs a week from Freegal and keep them forever.
