Q. Where can I find online information about HIV/AIDS?

A good source of information is the Alabama Virtual Library (AVL) with links to GaleCengage and Ebscohost databases with full-text journal, newspaper and magazine articles.  MedlinePlus is also an excellent source to government information on this subject. Another resource is "AIDS/HIV," a volume of the Information Plus Reference Series. It includes information on the nature of AIDS/HIV and the AIDS epidemic. Topics covered include testing and prevention, populations at risk and cost and treatment of the disease. An excellent source for high school and college students doing reports on this topic.
