Q. Where can I find online information on Native Americans?

One good source of information is the "U*X*L Encylopedia of Native American Tribes," part of the Gale virtual Reference Library found in the Alabama Virtual Library (AVL). This five volume set provides detailed studies of tribes from all over the United States and Canada, including some tribes that no longer exist. It gives detailed yet accessible information on a tribe's history, art, government, culture, daily life, as well as current social and political issues.  A good source for middle school and high school students doing research papers on this topic.
