Q. Can I get a list of websites I visited when I used a library computer?
I used a library computer the other day, and I'd like to go back to a website I used that day. I can't remember the address. Can I access my search history on that computer?
Answer
Huntsville-Madison County Public Library does not retain search histories for its public access computers. When using one of the library's computers, please make a note of any Internet addresses or URLs you need before you log off.
If you don't like to write down this type of information, you can e-mail yourself the information or use online bookmarking tools (e.g., Delicious.com) or note-taking tools (e.g., EverNote).
