Q. Where can I find online information on preparing for my commerical driver's license exam (CDL)?

The Library provides access to an excellent online collection of study guides called "Learning Express Library" that includes sample prep tests for obtaining your commercial driver's license (CDL). This source can be accessed through the Library's web page (hmcpl.org), selecting "Online Resources," and then choosing "Learning Express." You will need to ask a library staff member to create an account with Learning Express by entering your full library card number and creating a pin number. Once you've registered at the Library, you will be able to access the resource at home through the Library's web site. After login, select "Jobs and Careers" and then select either "Commercial Driver''s License (CDL)." You will then have access to a number of E-Tests and E-Books and can save them in "My Center" in order to retake and review them. There are six E-tests and an E-book on preparing for the specialty knowledge part of the CDL tests and two E-tests and an E-book reviewing the general knowledge part of the CDL test. A perfect source for anyone preparing for a career as a commercial driver.
