Q. Where can I find a good online source to help prepare for police officer exams?

The Library provides access to an excellent online collection of study guides called "Learning Express Library" that includes sample prep tests for police officer exams. This source can be accessed through the Library's web page (hmcpl.org), selecting "Online Resources," and then choosing "Learning Express." You will need to ask a library staff member to create an account with Learning Express by entering your full library card number and creating a pin number. Once you've registered at the Library, you will be able to access the resource at home through the Library's web site. After login, select "Jobs and Careers" and then select "Police Officer Exam Preparation." You will then have access to a number of E-Tests and E-Books and can save them in "My Center" in order to retake and review them. There are over a dozen exams covering potential test questions for becoming a police officer including sample questions from the California, New York and Florida exams. A perfect source for anyone preparing for a career as a law enforcement officer.
