Q. Where can I find online information on preparing for a plumber's license exam?

The Library provides access to an excellent online collection of study guides called "Learning Express Library" that includes sample prep tests for receiving a plumber's license. This source can be accessed through the Library's web page (hmcpl.org), selecting "Online Resources," and then choosing "Learning Express." You will need to ask a library staff member to create an account with Learning Express by entering your full library card number and creating a pin number. Once you've registered at the Library, you will be able to access the resource at home through the Library's web site. After login, select "Jobs and Careers" and then select "Plumber's License Test preparation." You will then have access to an online study guide entitled "Math for the Trades" that reviews and tests you on math skills needed for this profession. A perfect source for anyone thinking about becoming a plumber.
