I tried to login to the Morningstar Investment Research Center today, but I got a login error when I entered my library card number as the password, saying that "The license has been expired". Is this referring to a problem with my library card number or with HMCPL's license to Morningstar? If it's the later, please renew the license to this valuable research service. Thank you.

Answer

We lost the funding for the Morningstar database and were unable to renew the subscription. It expired on October 1, 2016. We have contacted our IT department to remove the option from our website.
